On 2 June 2025, Rajni Care Foundation and Dr. Ashish Mishra Jan Kalyan Samiti jointly organized a service work at Sewarth Vruddhashram, Rajajipuram, Lucknow. It was not just a program, but a living example of reverence, compassion and responsibility towards humanity.

The purpose of this service work was to give affection and respect to the elderly who feel the lack of the company of their loved ones in the twilight of their lives. On this occasion, special arrangements for food were made for all the senior citizens living in the old age home. Food was not just a means to satisfy the hunger of the body, but was an effort to bring a smile on their faces and touch their hearts.

Along with this, new clothes were presented to 22 elderly people living there. These clothes were not just clothes for them, but were respect, intimacy and the belief that the society still remembers them, accepts them.

This event gave the message that service is not just to help, but to give a feeling of belongingness. When tears of gratitude were seen in the eyes of the elderly and a look of satisfaction was seen on their faces, that scene itself was priceless.

This joint effort of Rajni Care Foundation and Dr. Ashish Mishra Jan Kalyan Samiti is an inspiration to the society – that the real meaning of service is to make someone feel that he is not alone.
